Action Verb

Action verbs express action and are the most common verbs.

When referring to someone or something in singular form add (s) to the verb

(He talks, She eats, It moves)

To imply negative form, add do not, does not, did not to the verb

(do not eat, did not come)

Do not can be shortened to don't, does not to doesn't, and did not to didn't.

(Don't eat, Didn't come)

To ask a question, add do, does or did at beginning of sentence

(Do you eat rice? Do you speak Japanese?)
