CodeBreaker 4.6 Plain Vanilla demonstrates a possible implementation result from a Code Breaker Kata (Coding Dojo). The user interface is still held in plain vanilla design (quite simple, less sophisticated). A similar type of application compared to this Codebreaker version is probably known as Bulls and Cows. Other trademarks and names for Codebreaker alike applications exist as well. The computer determines a hidden secret code. The user iteratively shall state a guess retrieving hints to get closer to the secret. The hints include the amount of exact matching digits in correct position and additionally the amount of digits included in the secret code but at non matching position. The numbering in the title of the application is actually not a version number. Numbering 4.6 shall indicate that the secret code and guesses contain four digits with six different values in range of representation by letters a to f. Using color representation is avoided on purpose for better support of color weakness or color blindness here. There is no maximum limitation of guesses. Feel free to get the existing alternative variants and correlated sources, fork the repository, enhance and adapt functionality as needed, enjoy, examine, and experiment with the application.
