CodeBreaker demonstrates a possible implementation result from a Code Breaker Kata (Coding Dojo). A similar type of application compared to this Codebreaker version is probably known as Bulls and Cows. Other trademarks and names for Codebreaker alike applications exist as well.

The computer determines a hidden secret code. The user iteratively shall state a guess retrieving hints to get closer to the secret. The hints include the amount of exact matching digits in correct position and additionally the amount of digits included in the secret code but at non matching position.

Support of different codesizes and amount of values per digit.
i18n support (currently English, German, Spanish, French, and Portuguese).
Digit representation by letters. Using color representation is avoided on purpose for better support of color weakness or color blindness here.
No maximum limitation of guesses.
Screen resolution awareness.
