بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ[1]

Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi

Au nom d'Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux.

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَٰلَمِينَ[2]

Alhamdu lillahi rabbi alAAalameena

Louange à Allah, Seigneur de l'univers.

Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds;

الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ[3]

Alrrahmani alrraheemi

Le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux,

Most Gracious, Most Merciful;

مَٰلِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ[4]

Maliki yawmi alddeeni

Maître du Jour de la rétribution.

Master of the Day of Judgment.

إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ[5]

Iyyaka naAAbudu waiyyaka nastaAAeenu

C'est Toi [Seul] que nous adorons, et c'est Toi [Seul] dont nous implorons secours.

Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek.

اهْدِنَا الصِّرَٰطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ[6]

Ihdina alssirata almustaqeema

Guide-nous dans le droit chemin,

Show us the straight way,

صِرَٰطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّآلِّينَ[7]

Sirata allatheena anAAamta AAalayhim ghayri almaghdoobi AAalayhim wala alddalleena

le chemin de ceux que Tu as comblés de faveurs, non pas de ceux qui ont encouru Ta colère, ni des égarés.

The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray.
