بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ حمٓ[1]

Hameem

H'â, Mîm.

Ha-Mim.

تَنزِيلُ الْكِتَٰبِ مِنَ اللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ[2]

Tanzeelu alkitabi mina Allahi alAAazeezi alhakeemi

La révélation du Livre émane d'Allah, le Puissant, le Sage.

The revelation of the Book is from Allah the Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom.

إِنَّ فِى السَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَالْأَرْضِ لَءَايَٰتٍ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ[3]

Inna fee alssamawati waalardi laayatin lilmumineena

Il y a certes dans les cieux et la terre des preuves pour les croyants.

Verily in the heavens and the earth, are Signs for those who believe.

وَفِى خَلْقِكُمْ وَمَا يَبُثُّ مِن دَآبَّةٍ ءَايَٰتٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ[4]

Wafee khalqikum wama yabuththu min dabbatin ayatun liqawmin yooqinoona

Et dans votre propre création, et dans ce qu'Il dissémine comme animaux, il y a des signes pour des gens qui croient avec certitude.

And in the creation of yourselves and the fact that animals are scattered (through the earth), are Signs for those of assured Faith.

وَاخْتِلَٰفِ الَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَمَآ أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مِن رِّزْقٍ فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَتَصْرِيفِ الرِّيَٰحِ ءَايَٰتٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ[5]

Waikhtilafi allayli waalnnahari wama anzala Allahu mina alssamai min rizqin faahya bihi alarda baAAda mawtiha watasreefi alrriyahi ayatun liqawmin yaAAqiloona

De même dans l'alternance de la nuit et du jour, et dans ce qu'Allah fait descendre du ciel comme subsistance [pluie] par laquelle Il redonne la vie à la terre une fois morte, et dans la distribution des vents, il y a des signes pour des gens qui raisonnent.

And in the alternation of Night and Day, and the fact that Allah sends down Sustenance from the sky, and revives therewith the earth after its death, and in the change of the winds,- are Signs for those that are wise.

تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ اللَّهِ نَتْلُوهَا عَلَيْكَ بِالْحَقِّ ۖ فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ بَعْدَ اللَّهِ وَءَايَٰتِهِۦ يُؤْمِنُونَ[6]

Tilka ayatu Allahi natlooha AAalayka bialhaqqi fabiayyi hadeethin baAAda Allahi waayatihi yuminoona

Voilà les versets d'Allah que Nous te récitons en toute vérité. Alors dans quelle parole croiront-ils après [la parole] d'Allah et après Ses signes?

Such are the Signs of Allah, which We rehearse to thee in Truth; then in what exposition will they believe after (rejecting) Allah and His Signs?

وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِيمٍ[7]

Waylun likulli affakin atheemin

Malheur à tout grand imposteur pécheur!

Woe to each sinful dealer in Falsehoods:

يَسْمَعُ ءَايَٰتِ اللَّهِ تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ يُصِرُّ مُسْتَكْبِرًا كَأَن لَّمْ يَسْمَعْهَا ۖ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ[8]

YasmaAAu ayati Allahi tutla AAalayhi thumma yusirru mustakbiran kaan lam yasmaAAha fabashshirhu biAAathabin aleemin

Il entend les versets d'Allah qu'on lui récite puis persiste dans son orgueil, comme s'il ne les avait jamais entendus. Annonce-lui donc un châtiment douloureux.

He hears the Signs of Allah rehearsed to him, yet is obstinate and lofty, as if he had not heard them: then announce to him a Penalty Grievous!

وَإِذَا عَلِمَ مِنْ ءَايَٰتِنَا شَيْـًٔا اتَّخَذَهَا هُزُوًا ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ[9]

Waitha AAalima min ayatina shayan ittakhathaha huzuwan olaika lahum AAathabun muheenun

S'il a connaissance de quelques-uns de Nos versets, il les tourne en dérision. Ceux-là auront un châtiment avilissant:

And when he learns something of Our Signs, he takes them in jest: for such there will be a humiliating Penalty.

مِّن وَرَآئِهِمْ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَلَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُم مَّا كَسَبُوا۟ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا مَا اتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ أَوْلِيَآءَ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ[10]

Min waraihim jahannamu wala yughnee AAanhum ma kasaboo shayan wala ma ittakhathoo min dooni Allahi awliyaa walahum AAathabun AAatheemun

l'Enfer est à leurs trousses. Ce qu'ils auront acquis ne leur servira à rien, ni ce qu'ils auront pris comme protecteurs, en dehors d'Allah. Ils auront un énorme châtiment.

In front of them is Hell: and of no profit to them is anything they may have earned, nor any protectors they may have taken to themselves besides Allah: for them is a tremendous Penalty.

هَٰذَا هُدًى ۖ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مِّن رِّجْزٍ أَلِيمٌ[11]

Hatha hudan waallatheena kafaroo biayati rabbihim lahum AAathabun min rijzin aleemin

Ceci [le Coran] est un guide. Et ceux qui récusent les versets de leur Seigneur auront le supplice d'un châtiment douloureux.

This is (true) Guidance and for those who reject the Signs of their Lord, is a grievous Penalty of abomination.

۞ اللَّهُ الَّذِى سَخَّرَ لَكُمُ الْبَحْرَ لِتَجْرِىَ الْفُلْكُ فِيهِ بِأَمْرِهِۦ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ[12]

Allahu allathee sakhkhara lakumu albahra litajriya alfulku feehi biamrihi walitabtaghoo min fadlihi walaAAallakum tashkuroona

Allah c'est Lui qui vous a assujetti la mer, afin que les vaisseaux y voguent, par Son ordre, et que vous alliez en quête de sa grâce afin que vous soyez reconnaissants.

It is Allah Who has subjected the sea to you, that ships may sail through it by His command, that ye may seek of his Bounty, and that ye may be grateful.

وَسَخَّرَ لَكُم مَّا فِى السَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا مِّنْهُ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ[13]

Wasakhkhara lakum ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi jameeAAan minhu inna fee thalika laayatin liqawmin yatafakkaroona

Et Il vous a assujetti tout ce qui est dans les cieux et sur la terre, le tout venant de Lui. Il y a là des signes pour des gens qui réfléchissent.

And He has subjected to you, as from Him, all that is in the heavens and on earth: Behold, in that are Signs indeed for those who reflect.

قُل لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ يَغْفِرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ أَيَّامَ اللَّهِ لِيَجْزِىَ قَوْمًۢا بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ[14]

Qul lillatheena amanoo yaghfiroo lillatheena la yarjoona ayyama Allahi liyajziya qawman bima kanoo yaksiboona

Dis à ceux qui ont cru de pardonner à ceux qui n'espèrent pas les jours d'Allah afin qu'Il rétribue [chaque] peuple pour les acquis qu'ils faisaient.

Tell those who believe, to forgive those who do not look forward to the Days of Allah: It is for Him to recompense (for good or ill) each People according to what they have earned.

مَنْ عَمِلَ صَٰلِحًا فَلِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖ وَمَنْ أَسَآءَ فَعَلَيْهَا ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ تُرْجَعُونَ[15]

Man AAamila salihan falinafsihi waman asaa faAAalayha thumma ila rabbikum turjaAAoona

Quiconque fait le bien, le fait pour lui-même; et quiconque agit mal, agit contre lui-même. Puis vous serez ramenés vers votre Seigneur,

If any one does a righteous deed, it ensures to the benefit of his own soul; if he does evil, it works against (his own soul). In the end will ye (all) be brought back to your Lord.

وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ الْكِتَٰبَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ وَرَزَقْنَٰهُم مِّنَ الطَّيِّبَٰتِ وَفَضَّلْنَٰهُمْ عَلَى الْعَٰلَمِينَ[16]

Walaqad atayna banee israeela alkitaba waalhukma waalnnubuwwata warazaqnahum mina alttayyibati wafaddalnahum AAala alAAalameena

Nous avons effectivement apporté aux Enfants d'Israël le Livre, la sagesse, la prophétie, et leur avons attribué de bonnes choses, et les préférâmes aux autres humains [leurs contemporains];

We did aforetime grant to the Children of Israel the Book the Power of Command, and Prophethood; We gave them, for Sustenance, things good and pure; and We favoured them above the nations.

وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُم بَيِّنَٰتٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْرِ ۖ فَمَا اخْتَلَفُوٓا۟ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَهُمُ الْعِلْمُ بَغْيًۢا بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقْضِى بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَٰمَةِ فِيمَا كَانُوا۟ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ[17]

Waataynahum bayyinatin mina alamri fama ikhtalafoo illa min baAAdi ma jaahumu alAAilmu baghyan baynahum inna rabbaka yaqdee baynahum yawma alqiyamati feema kanoo feehi yakhtalifoona

Et Nous leur avons apporté des preuves évidentes de l'Ordre. Ils ne divergèrent qu'après que la science leur fut venue par agressivité entre eux. Ton Seigneur décidera parmi eux, au Jour de la Résurrection, sur ce en quoi ils divergeaient.

And We granted them Clear Signs in affairs (of Religion): it was only after knowledge had been granted to them that they fell into schisms, through insolent envy among themselves. Verily thy Lord will judge between them on the Day of Judgment as to those matters in which they set up differences.

ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَٰكَ عَلَىٰ شَرِيعَةٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْرِ فَاتَّبِعْهَا وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَآءَ الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ[18]

Thumma jaAAalnaka AAala shareeAAatin mina alamri faittabiAAha wala tattabiAA ahwaa allatheena la yaAAlamoona

Puis Nous t'avons mis sur la voie de l'Ordre [une religion claire et parfaite]. Suis-la donc et ne suis pas les passions de ceux qui ne savent pas.

Then We put thee on the (right) Way of Religion: so follow thou that (Way), and follow not the desires of those who know not.

إِنَّهُمْ لَن يُغْنُوا۟ عَنكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْـًٔا ۚ وَإِنَّ الظَّٰلِمِينَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَآءُ بَعْضٍ ۖ وَاللَّهُ وَلِىُّ الْمُتَّقِينَ[19]

Innahum lan yughnoo AAanka mina Allahi shayan wainna alththalimeena baAAduhum awliyao baAAdin waAllahu waliyyu almuttaqeena

Ils ne te seront d'aucune utilité vis-à-vis d'Allah. Les injustes sont vraiment alliés les uns des autres; tandis qu'Allah est le Protecteur des pieux.

They will be of no use to thee in the sight of Allah: it is only Wrong-doers (that stand as) protectors, one to another: but Allah is the Protector of the Righteous.

هَٰذَا بَصَٰٓئِرُ لِلنَّاسِ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ[20]

Hatha basairu lilnnasi wahudan warahmatun liqawmin yooqinoona

Ceci [le Coran] constitue pour les hommes une source de clarté, un guide et une miséricorde pour des gens qui croient avec certitude.

These are clear evidences to men and a Guidance and Mercy to those of assured Faith.

أَمْ حَسِبَ الَّذِينَ اجْتَرَحُوا۟ السَّيِّـَٔاتِ أَن نَّجْعَلَهُمْ كَالَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ الصَّٰلِحَٰتِ سَوَآءً مَّحْيَاهُمْ وَمَمَاتُهُمْ ۚ سَآءَ مَا يَحْكُمُونَ[21]

Am hasiba allatheena ijtarahoo alssayyiati an najAAalahum kaallatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati sawaan mahyahum wamamatuhum saa ma yahkumoona

Ceux qui commettent des mauvaises actions comptent-ils que Nous allons les traiter comme ceux qui croient et accomplissent les bonnes œuvres, dans leur vie et dans leur mort? Comme ils jugent mal!

What! Do those who seek after evil ways think that We shall hold them equal with those who believe and do righteous deeds,- that equal will be their life and their death? Ill is the judgment that they make.

وَخَلَقَ اللَّهُ السَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ وَلِتُجْزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍۭ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ[22]

Wakhalaqa Allahu alssamawati waalarda bialhaqqi walitujza kullu nafsin bima kasabat wahum la yuthlamoona

Et Allah a créé les cieux et la terre en toute vérité et afin que chaque âme soit rétribuée selon ce qu'elle a acquis. Ils ne seront cependant pas lésés.

Allah created the heavens and the earth for just ends, and in order that each soul may find the recompense of what it has earned, and none of them be wronged.

أَفَرَءَيْتَ مَنِ اتَّخَذَ إِلَٰهَهُۥ هَوَىٰهُ وَأَضَلَّهُ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ وَخَتَمَ عَلَىٰ سَمْعِهِۦ وَقَلْبِهِۦ وَجَعَلَ عَلَىٰ بَصَرِهِۦ غِشَٰوَةً فَمَن يَهْدِيهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ اللَّهِ ۚ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ[23]

Afaraayta mani ittakhatha ilahahu hawahu waadallahu Allahu AAala AAilmin wakhatama AAala samAAihi waqalbihi wajaAAala AAala basarihi ghishawatan faman yahdeehi min baAAdi Allahi afala tathakkaroona

Vois-tu celui qui prend sa passion pour sa propre divinité? Et Allah l'égare sciemment et scelle son ouïe et son cœur et étend un voile sur sa vue. Qui donc peut le guider après Allah? Ne vous rappelez-vous donc pas?

Then seest thou such a one as takes as his god his own vain desire? Allah has, knowing (him as such), left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his heart (and understanding), and put a cover on his sight. Who, then, will guide him after Allah (has withdrawn Guidance)? Will ye not then receive admonition?

وَقَالُوا۟ مَا هِىَ إِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا الدُّنْيَا نَمُوتُ وَنَحْيَا وَمَا يُهْلِكُنَآ إِلَّا الدَّهْرُ ۚ وَمَا لَهُم بِذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ ۖ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَظُنُّونَ[24]

Waqaloo ma hiya illa hayatuna alddunya namootu wanahya wama yuhlikuna illa alddahru wama lahum bithalika min AAilmin in hum illa yathunnoona

Et ils dirent: «Il n'y a pour nous que la vie d'ici-bas: nous mourons et nous vivons et seul le temps nous fait périr». Ils n'ont de cela aucune connaissance: ils ne font qu'émettre des conjectures.

And they say: "What is there but our life in this world? We shall die and we live, and nothing but time can destroy us." But of that they have no knowledge: they merely conjecture:

وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتُنَا بَيِّنَٰتٍ مَّا كَانَ حُجَّتَهُمْ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوا۟ ائْتُوا۟ بِـَٔابَآئِنَآ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ[25]

Waitha tutla AAalayhim ayatuna bayyinatin ma kana hujjatahum illa an qaloo itoo biabaina in kuntum sadiqeena

Et quand on leur récite Nos versets bien clairs, leur seul argument est de dire: «Faites revenir nos ancêtres si vous êtes véridiques».

And when Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them their argument is nothing but this: They say, "Bring (back) our forefathers, if what ye say is true!"

قُلِ اللَّهُ يُحْيِيكُمْ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يَجْمَعُكُمْ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَٰمَةِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ[26]

Quli Allahu yuhyeekum thumma yumeetukum thumma yajmaAAukum ila yawmi alqiyamati la rayba feehi walakinna akthara alnnasi la yaAAlamoona

Dis: «Allah vous donne la vie puis Il vous donne la mort. Ensuite Il vous réunira le Jour de la Résurrection, il n'y a pas de doute à ce sujet, mais la plupart des gens ne savent pas.

Say: "It is Allah Who gives you life, then gives you death; then He will gather you together for the Day of Judgment about which there is no doubt": But most men do not understand.

وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَخْسَرُ الْمُبْطِلُونَ[27]

Walillahi mulku alssamawati waalardi wayawma taqoomu alssaAAatu yawmaithin yakhsaru almubtiloona

A Allah appartient le royaume des cieux et de la terre. Et le jour où l'Heure arrivera, ce jour-là, les imposteurs seront perdus.

To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and the Day that the Hour of Judgment is established,- that Day will the dealers in Falsehood perish!

وَتَرَىٰ كُلَّ أُمَّةٍ جَاثِيَةً ۚ كُلُّ أُمَّةٍ تُدْعَىٰٓ إِلَىٰ كِتَٰبِهَا الْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ[28]

Watara kulla ommatin jathiyatan kullu ommatin tudAAa ila kitabiha alyawma tujzawna ma kuntum taAAmaloona

Et tu verras chaque communauté agenouillée. Chaque communauté sera appelée vers son livre. On vous rétribuera aujourd'hui selon ce que vous œuvriez.

And thou wilt see every sect bowing the knee: Every sect will be called to its Record: "This Day shall ye be recompensed for all that ye did!

هَٰذَا كِتَٰبُنَا يَنطِقُ عَلَيْكُم بِالْحَقِّ ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا نَسْتَنسِخُ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ[29]

Hatha kitabuna yantiqu AAalaykum bialhaqqi inna kunna nastansikhu ma kuntum taAAmaloona

Voilà Notre Livre. Il parle de vous en toute vérité car Nous enregistrions [tout] ce que vous faisiez».

"This Our Record speaks about you with truth: For We were wont to put on Record all that ye did."

فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ الصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَيُدْخِلُهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ فِى رَحْمَتِهِۦ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْمُبِينُ[30]

Faamma allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati fayudkhiluhum rabbuhum fee rahmatihi thalika huwa alfawzu almubeenu

Ceux qui ont cru et fait de bonnes œuvres, leur Seigneur les fera entrer dans Sa miséricorde. Voilà le succès évident.

Then, as to those who believed and did righteous deeds, their Lord will admit them to His Mercy that will be the achievement for all to see.

وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَفَلَمْ تَكُنْ ءَايَٰتِى تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ فَاسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ وَكُنتُمْ قَوْمًا مُّجْرِمِينَ[31]

Waamma allatheena kafaroo afalam takun ayatee tutla AAalaykum faistakbartum wakuntum qawman mujrimeena

Et quant à ceux qui ont mécru [il sera dit]: «Mes versets ne vous étaient-ils pas récités? Mais vous vous enfliez d'orgueil et vous étiez des gens criminels».

But as to those who rejected Allah, (to them will be said): "Were not Our Signs rehearsed to you? But ye were arrogant, and were a people given to sin!

وَإِذَا قِيلَ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَالسَّاعَةُ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهَا قُلْتُم مَّا نَدْرِى مَا السَّاعَةُ إِن نَّظُنُّ إِلَّا ظَنًّا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُسْتَيْقِنِينَ[32]

Waitha qeela inna waAAda Allahi haqqun waalssaAAatu la rayba feeha qultum ma nadree ma alssaAAatu in nathunnu illa thannan wama nahnu bimustayqineena

Et quand on disait: «La promesse d'Allah est vérité; et l'Heure n'est pas l'objet d'un doute», vous disiez: «Nous ne savons pas ce que c'est que l'Heure; et nous ne faisions à son sujet que de simples conjectures et nous ne sommes pas convaincus [qu'elle arrivera].

"And when it was said that the promise of Allah was true, and that the Hour- there was no doubt about its (coming), ye used to say, 'We know not what is the hour: we only think it is an idea, and we have no firm assurance.'"

وَبَدَا لَهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ[33]

Wabada lahum sayyiatu ma AAamiloo wahaqa bihim ma kanoo bihi yastahzioona

Et leur apparaîtra [la laideur] de leurs mauvaises actions. Et ce dont ils se moquaient les cernera.

Then will appear to them the evil (fruits) of what they did, and they will be completely encircled by that which they used to mock at!

وَقِيلَ الْيَوْمَ نَنسَىٰكُمْ كَمَا نَسِيتُمْ لِقَآءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَٰذَا وَمَأْوَىٰكُمُ النَّارُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن نَّٰصِرِينَ[34]

Waqeela alyawma nansakum kama naseetum liqaa yawmikum hatha wamawakumu alnnaru wama lakum min nasireena

Et on leur dira: «Aujourd'hui Nous vous oublions comme vous avez oublié la rencontre de votre jour que voici. Votre refuge est le Feu; et vous n'aurez point de secoureurs.

It will also be said: "This Day We will forget you as ye forgot the meeting of this Day of yours! and your abode is the Fire, and no helpers have ye!

ذَٰلِكُم بِأَنَّكُمُ اتَّخَذْتُمْ ءَايَٰتِ اللَّهِ هُزُوًا وَغَرَّتْكُمُ الْحَيَوٰةُ الدُّنْيَا ۚ فَالْيَوْمَ لَا يُخْرَجُونَ مِنْهَا وَلَا هُمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ[35]

Thalikum biannakumu ittakhathtum ayati Allahi huzuwan wagharratkumu alhayatu alddunya faalyawma la yukhrajoona minha wala hum yustaAAtaboona

Cela parce que vous preniez en raillerie les versets d'Allah et que la vie d'ici-bas vous trompait». Ce jour-là on ne les en fera pas sortir et on ne les excusera pas non plus.

"This, because ye used to take the Signs of Allah in jest, and the life of the world deceived you:" (From) that Day, therefore, they shall not be taken out thence, nor shall they be received into Grace.

فَلِلَّهِ الْحَمْدُ رَبِّ السَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَرَبِّ الْأَرْضِ رَبِّ الْعَٰلَمِينَ[36]

Falillahi alhamdu rabbi alssamawati warabbi alardi rabbi alAAalameena

Louange à Allah, Seigneur des cieux et Seigneur de la terre: Seigneur de l'univers.

Then Praise be to Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth,- Lord and Cherisher of all the Worlds!

وَلَهُ الْكِبْرِيَآءُ فِى السَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ[37]

Walahu alkibriyao fee alssamawati waalardi wahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu

Et à Lui la grandeur dans les cieux et la terre. Et c'est Lui le Puissant, le Sage.

To Him be glory throughout the heavens and the earth: and He is Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom!
