بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قَدْ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ قَوْلَ الَّتِى تُجَٰدِلُكَ فِى زَوْجِهَا وَتَشْتَكِىٓ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ يَسْمَعُ تَحَاوُرَكُمَآ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌۢ بَصِيرٌ[1]

Qad samiAAa Allahu qawla allatee tujadiluka fee zawjiha watashtakee ila Allahi waAllahu yasmaAAu tahawurakuma inna Allaha sameeAAun baseerun

Allah a bien entendu la parole de celle qui discutait avec toi à propos de son époux et se plaignait à Allah. Et Allah entendait votre conversation, car Allah est Audient et Clairvoyant.

Allah has indeed heard (and accepted) the statement of the woman who pleads with thee concerning her husband and carries her complaint (in prayer) to Allah: and Allah (always) hears the arguments between both sides among you: for Allah hears and sees (all things).

الَّذِينَ يُظَٰهِرُونَ مِنكُم مِّن نِّسَآئِهِم مَّا هُنَّ أُمَّهَٰتِهِمْ ۖ إِنْ أُمَّهَٰتُهُمْ إِلَّا الَّٰٓـِٔى وَلَدْنَهُمْ ۚ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَيَقُولُونَ مُنكَرًا مِّنَ الْقَوْلِ وَزُورًا ۚ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَعَفُوٌّ غَفُورٌ[2]

Allatheena yuthahiroona minkum min nisaihim ma hunna ommahatihim in ommahatuhum illa allaee waladnahum wainnahum layaqooloona munkaran mina alqawli wazooran wainna Allaha laAAafuwwun ghafoorun

Ceux d'entre vous qui répudient leurs femmes, en déclarant qu'elles sont pour eux comme le dos de leurs mères. alors qu'elles ne sont nullement leurs mères, car ils n'ont pour mères que celles qui les ont enfantés. Ils prononcent certes une parole blâmable et mensongère. Allah cependant est Indulgent et Pardonneur.

If any men among you divorce their wives by Zihar (calling them mothers), they cannot be their mothers: None can be their mothers except those who gave them birth. And in fact they use words (both) iniquitous and false: but truly Allah is one that blots out (sins), and forgives (again and again).

وَالَّذِينَ يُظَٰهِرُونَ مِن نِّسَآئِهِمْ ثُمَّ يَعُودُونَ لِمَا قَالُوا۟ فَتَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَتَمَآسَّا ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ تُوعَظُونَ بِهِۦ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ[3]

Waallatheena yuthahiroona min nisaihim thumma yaAAoodoona lima qaloo fatahreeru raqabatin min qabli an yatamassa thalikum tooAAathoona bihi waAllahu bima taAAmaloona khabeerun

Ceux qui comparent leurs femmes au dos de leurs mères puis reviennent sur ce qu'ils ont dit, doivent affranchir un esclave avant d'avoir aucun contact [conjugal] avec leur femme. C'est ce dont on vous exhorte. Et Allah est Parfaitement Connaisseur de ce que vous faites

But those who divorce their wives by Zihar, then wish to go back on the words they uttered,- (It is ordained that such a one) should free a slave before they touch each other: Thus are ye admonished to perform: and Allah is well-acquainted with (all) that ye do.

فَمَن لَّمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ شَهْرَيْنِ مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَتَمَآسَّا ۖ فَمَن لَّمْ يَسْتَطِعْ فَإِطْعَامُ سِتِّينَ مِسْكِينًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِتُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ ۚ وَتِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللَّهِ ۗ وَلِلْكَٰفِرِينَ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ[4]

Faman lam yajid fasiyamu shahrayni mutatabiAAayni min qabli an yatamassa faman lam yastatiAA faitAAamu sitteena miskeenan thalika lituminoo biAllahi warasoolihi watilka hudoodu Allahi walilkafireena AAathabun aleemun

Mais celui qui n'en trouve pas les moyens doit jeûner alors deux mois consécutifs avant d'avoir aucun contact [conjugal] avec sa femme. Mais s'il ne peut le faire non plus, alors qu'il nourrisse soixante pauvres. Cela, pour que vous croyiez en Allah et en Son messager. Voilà les limites imposées par Allah. Et les mécréants auront un châtiment douloureux.

And if any has not (the wherewithal), he should fast for two months consecutively before they touch each other. But if any is unable to do so, he should feed sixty indigent ones, this, that ye may show your faith in Allah and His Messenger. Those are limits (set by) Allah. For those who reject (Him), there is a grievous Penalty.

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُحَآدُّونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ كُبِتُوا۟ كَمَا كُبِتَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ وَقَدْ أَنزَلْنَآ ءَايَٰتٍۭ بَيِّنَٰتٍ ۚ وَلِلْكَٰفِرِينَ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ[5]

Inna allatheena yuhaddoona Allaha warasoolahu kubitoo kama kubita allatheena min qablihim waqad anzalna ayatin bayyinatin walilkafireena AAathabun muheenun

Ceux qui s'opposent à Allah et à Son messager seront culbutés comme furent culbutés leurs devanciers. Nous avons déjà fait descendre des preuves explicites, et les mécréants auront un châtiment avilissant,

Those who resist Allah and His Messenger will be humbled to dust, as were those before them: for We have already sent down Clear Signs. And the Unbelievers (will have) a humiliating Penalty,-

يَوْمَ يَبْعَثُهُمُ اللَّهُ جَمِيعًا فَيُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا عَمِلُوٓا۟ ۚ أَحْصَىٰهُ اللَّهُ وَنَسُوهُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ شَهِيدٌ[6]

Yawma yabAAathuhumu Allahu jameeAAan fayunabbiohum bima AAamiloo ahsahu Allahu wanasoohu waAllahu AAala kulli shayin shaheedun

le jour où Allah les ressuscitera tous, puis les informera de ce qu'ils ont fait Allah l'a dénombré et ils l'auront oublié. Allah est témoin de toute chose.

On the Day that Allah will raise them all up (again) and show them the Truth (and meaning) of their conduct. Allah has reckoned its (value), though they may have forgotten it, for Allah is Witness to all things.

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِى السَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى الْأَرْضِ ۖ مَا يَكُونُ مِن نَّجْوَىٰ ثَلَٰثَةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ رَابِعُهُمْ وَلَا خَمْسَةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ سَادِسُهُمْ وَلَآ أَدْنَىٰ مِن ذَٰلِكَ وَلَآ أَكْثَرَ إِلَّا هُوَ مَعَهُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كَانُوا۟ ۖ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا عَمِلُوا۟ يَوْمَ الْقِيَٰمَةِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ[7]

Alam tara anna Allaha yaAAlamu ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi ma yakoonu min najwa thalathatin illa huwa rabiAAuhum wala khamsatin illa huwa sadisuhum wala adna min thalika wala akthara illa huwa maAAahum ayna ma kanoo thumma yunabbiohum bima AAamiloo yawma alqiyamati inna Allaha bikulli shayin AAaleemun

Ne vois-tu pas qu'Allah sait ce qui est dans les cieux et sur la terre? Pas de conversation secrète entre trois sans qu'Il ne soit leur quatrième, ni entre cinq sans qu'Il n'y ne soit leur sixième, ni moins ni plus que cela sans qu'Il ne soit avec eux, là où ils se trouvent. Ensuite, Il les informera au Jour de la Résurrection, de ce qu'ils faisaient, car Allah est Omniscient.

Seest thou not that Allah doth know (all) that is in the heavens and on earth? There is not a secret consultation between three, but He makes the fourth among them, - Nor between five but He makes the sixth,- nor between fewer nor more, but He is in their midst, wheresoever they be: In the end will He tell them the truth of their conduct, on the Day of Judgment. For Allah has full knowledge of all things.

أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ نُهُوا۟ عَنِ النَّجْوَىٰ ثُمَّ يَعُودُونَ لِمَا نُهُوا۟ عَنْهُ وَيَتَنَٰجَوْنَ بِالْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَٰنِ وَمَعْصِيَتِ الرَّسُولِ وَإِذَا جَآءُوكَ حَيَّوْكَ بِمَا لَمْ يُحَيِّكَ بِهِ اللَّهُ وَيَقُولُونَ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ لَوْلَا يُعَذِّبُنَا اللَّهُ بِمَا نَقُولُ ۚ حَسْبُهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ يَصْلَوْنَهَا ۖ فَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ[8]

Alam tara ila allatheena nuhoo AAani alnnajwa thumma yaAAoodoona lima nuhoo AAanhu wayatanajawna bialithmi waalAAudwani wamaAAsiyati alrrasooli waitha jaooka hayyawka bima lam yuhayyika bihi Allahu wayaqooloona fee anfusihim lawla yuAAaththibuna Allahu bima naqoolu hasbuhum jahannamu yaslawnaha fabisa almaseeru

Ne vois-tu pas ceux à qui les conversations secrètes ont été interdites? Puis, ils retournent à ce qui leur a été interdit, et se concertent pour pécher, transgresser et désobéir au Messager. Et quand ils viennent à toi, ils te saluent d'une façon dont Allah ne t'a pas salué, et disent en eux-mêmes: «Pourquoi Allah ne nous châtie pas pour ce que nous disons?» L'Enfer leur suffira, où ils brûleront. Et quelle mauvaise destination!

Turnest thou not thy sight towards those who were forbidden secret counsels yet revert to that which they were forbidden (to do)? And they hold secret counsels among themselves for iniquity and hostility, and disobedience to the Messenger. And when they come to thee, they salute thee, not as Allah salutes thee, (but in crooked ways): And they say to themselves, "Why does not Allah punish us for our words?" Enough for them is Hell: In it will they burn, and evil is that destination!

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا تَنَٰجَيْتُمْ فَلَا تَتَنَٰجَوْا۟ بِالْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَٰنِ وَمَعْصِيَتِ الرَّسُولِ وَتَنَٰجَوْا۟ بِالْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَىٰ ۖ وَاتَّقُوا۟ اللَّهَ الَّذِىٓ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ[9]

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo itha tanajaytum fala tatanajaw bialithmi waalAAudwani wamaAAsiyati alrrasooli watanajaw bialbirri waalttaqwa waittaqoo Allaha allathee ilayhi tuhsharoona

O vous qui avez cru! Quand vous tenez des conversations secrètes, ne vous concertez pas pour pécher, transgresser et désobéir au Messager, mais concertez-vous dans la bonté et la piété. Et craignez Allah vers qui vous serez rassemblés.

O ye who believe! When ye hold secret counsel, do it not for iniquity and hostility, and disobedience to the Prophet; but do it for righteousness and self-restraint; and fear Allah, to Whom ye shall be brought back.

إِنَّمَا النَّجْوَىٰ مِنَ الشَّيْطَٰنِ لِيَحْزُنَ الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَلَيْسَ بِضَآرِّهِمْ شَيْـًٔا إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ[10]

Innama alnnajwa mina alshshaytani liyahzuna allatheena amanoo walaysa bidarrihim shayan illa biithni Allahi waAAala Allahi falyatawakkali almuminoona

La conversation secrète n'est que [l'œuvre] du Diable pour attrister ceux qui ont cru. Mais il ne peut leur nuire en rien sans la permission d'Allah. Et c'est en Allah que les croyants doivent placer leur confiance.

Secret counsels are only (inspired) by the Evil One, in order that he may cause grief to the Believers; but he cannot harm them in the least, except as Allah permits; and on Allah let the Believers put their trust.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا قِيلَ لَكُمْ تَفَسَّحُوا۟ فِى الْمَجَٰلِسِ فَافْسَحُوا۟ يَفْسَحِ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ ۖ وَإِذَا قِيلَ انشُزُوا۟ فَانشُزُوا۟ يَرْفَعِ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنكُمْ وَالَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ الْعِلْمَ دَرَجَٰتٍ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ[11]

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo itha qeela lakum tafassahoo fee almajalisi faifsahoo yafsahi Allahu lakum waitha qeela onshuzoo faonshuzoo yarfaAAi Allahu allatheena amanoo minkum waallatheena ootoo alAAilma darajatin waAllahu bima taAAmaloona khabeerun

O vous qui avez cru! Quand on vous dit: «Faites place [aux autres] dans les assemblées», alors faites place. Allah vous ménagera une place (au Paradis). Et quand on vous dit de vous lever, levez-vous. Allah élèvera en degrés ceux d'entre vous qui auront cru et ceux qui auront reçu le savoir. Allah est Parfaitement Connaisseur de ce que vous faites.

O ye who believe! When ye are told to make room in the assemblies, (spread out and) make room: (ample) room will Allah provide for you. And when ye are told to rise up, rise up Allah will rise up, to (suitable) ranks (and degrees), those of you who believe and who have been granted (mystic) Knowledge. And Allah is well-acquainted with all ye do.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا نَٰجَيْتُمُ الرَّسُولَ فَقَدِّمُوا۟ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ نَجْوَىٰكُمْ صَدَقَةً ۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ وَأَطْهَرُ ۚ فَإِن لَّمْ تَجِدُوا۟ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ[12]

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo itha najaytumu alrrasoola faqaddimoo bayna yaday najwakum sadaqatan thalika khayrun lakum waatharu fain lam tajidoo fainna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun

O vous qui avez cru! Quand vous avez un entretien confidentiel avec le Messager, faites précéder d'une aumône votre entretien: cela est meilleur pour vous et plus pur. Mais si vous n'en trouvez pas les moyens alors Allah est Pardonneur et très Miséricordieux!

O ye who believe! When ye consult the Messenger in private, spend something in charity before your private consultation. That will be best for you, and most conducive to purity (of conduct). But if ye find not (the wherewithal), Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

ءَأَشْفَقْتُمْ أَن تُقَدِّمُوا۟ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ نَجْوَىٰكُمْ صَدَقَٰتٍ ۚ فَإِذْ لَمْ تَفْعَلُوا۟ وَتَابَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ فَأَقِيمُوا۟ الصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ الزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ ۚ وَاللَّهُ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ[13]

Aashfaqtum an tuqaddimoo bayna yaday najwakum sadaqatin faith lam tafAAaloo wataba Allahu AAalaykum faaqeemoo alssalata waatoo alzzakata waateeAAoo Allaha warasoolahu waAllahu khabeerun bima taAAmaloona

Appréhendez-vous de faire précéder d'aumônes votre entretien? Mais, si vous ne l'avez pas fait et qu'Allah a accueilli votre repentir, alors accomplissez la Salât, acquittez la Zakât, et obéissez à Allah et à Son messager. Allah est Parfaitement Connaisseur de ce que vous faites.

Is it that ye are afraid of spending sums in charity before your private consultation (with him)? If, then, ye do not so, and Allah forgives you, then (at least) establish regular prayer; practise regular charity; and obey Allah and His Messenger. And Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.

۞ أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ تَوَلَّوْا۟ قَوْمًا غَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِم مَّا هُم مِّنكُمْ وَلَا مِنْهُمْ وَيَحْلِفُونَ عَلَى الْكَذِبِ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ[14]

Alam tara ila allatheena tawallaw qawman ghadiba Allahu AAalayhim ma hum minkum wala minhum wayahlifoona AAala alkathibi wahum yaAAlamoona

N'as-tu pas vu ceux qui ont pris pour alliés des gens contre qui Allah S'est courroucé? Ils ne sont ni des vôtres, ni des leurs; et ils jurent mensongèrement, alors qu'ils savent.

Turnest thou not thy attention to those who turn (in friendship) to such as have the Wrath of Allah upon them? They are neither of you nor of them, and they swear to falsehood knowingly.

أَعَدَّ اللَّهُ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا ۖ إِنَّهُمْ سَآءَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ[15]

aAAadda Allahu lahum AAathaban shadeedan innahum saa ma kanoo yaAAmaloona

Allah leur a préparé un dur châtiment. Ce qu'ils faisaient alors était très mauvais.

Allah has prepared for them a severe Penalty: evil indeed are their deeds.

اتَّخَذُوٓا۟ أَيْمَٰنَهُمْ جُنَّةً فَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ[16]

Ittakhathoo aymanahum junnatan fasaddoo AAan sabeeli Allahi falahum AAathabun muheenun

Prenant leurs serments comme boucliers, ils obstruent le chemin d'Allah. Ils auront donc un châtiment avilissant.

They have made their oaths a screen (for their misdeeds): thus they obstruct (men) from the Path of Allah: therefore shall they have a humiliating Penalty.

لَّن تُغْنِىَ عَنْهُمْ أَمْوَٰلُهُمْ وَلَآ أَوْلَٰدُهُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ شَيْـًٔا ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ النَّارِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ[17]

Lan tughniya AAanhum amwaluhum wala awladuhum mina Allahi shayan olaika ashabu alnnari hum feeha khalidoona

Ni leurs biens, ni leurs enfants ne leur seront d'aucune utilité contre la [punition] d'Allah. Ce sont les gens du Feu où ils demeureront éternellement.

Of no profit whatever to them, against Allah, will be their riches nor their sons: they will be Companions of the Fire, to dwell therein (for aye)!

يَوْمَ يَبْعَثُهُمُ اللَّهُ جَمِيعًا فَيَحْلِفُونَ لَهُۥ كَمَا يَحْلِفُونَ لَكُمْ ۖ وَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمْ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍ ۚ أَلَآ إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْكَٰذِبُونَ[18]

Yawma yabAAathuhumu Allahu jameeAAan fayahlifoona lahu kama yahlifoona lakum wayahsaboona annahum AAala shayin ala innahum humu alkathiboona

Le jour où Allah les ressuscitera tous, ils Lui jureront alors comme ils vous jurent à vous-mêmes, pensant s'appuyer sur quelque chose de solide. Mais ce sont eux les menteurs.

One day will Allah raise them all up (for Judgment): then will they swear to Him as they swear to you: And they think that they have something (to stand upon). No, indeed! they are but liars!

اسْتَحْوَذَ عَلَيْهِمُ الشَّيْطَٰنُ فَأَنسَىٰهُمْ ذِكْرَ اللَّهِ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ حِزْبُ الشَّيْطَٰنِ ۚ أَلَآ إِنَّ حِزْبَ الشَّيْطَٰنِ هُمُ الْخَٰسِرُونَ[19]

Istahwatha AAalayhimu alshshaytanu faansahum thikra Allahi olaika hizbu alshshaytani ala inna hizba alshshaytani humu alkhasiroona

Le Diable les a dominés et leur a fait oublier le rappel d'Allah. Ceux-là sont le parti du Diable et c'est le parti du Diable qui sont assurément les perdants.

The Evil One has got the better of them: so he has made them lose the remembrance of Allah. They are the Party of the Evil One. Truly, it is the Party of the Evil One that will perish!

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُحَآدُّونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ فِى الْأَذَلِّينَ[20]

Inna allatheena yuhaddoona Allaha warasoolahu olaika fee alathalleena

Ceux qui s'opposent à Allah et à Son messager seront parmi les plus humiliés.

Those who resist Allah and His Messenger will be among those most humiliated.

كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَأَغْلِبَنَّ أَنَا۠ وَرُسُلِىٓ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَوِىٌّ عَزِيزٌ[21]

Kataba Allahu laaghlibanna ana warusulee inna Allaha qawiyyun AAazeezun

Allah a prescrit: «Assurément, Je triompherai, Moi ainsi que Mes Messagers». En vérité Allah est Fort et Puissant.

Allah has decreed: "It is I and My messengers who must prevail": For Allah is One full of strength, able to enforce His Will.

لَّا تَجِدُ قَوْمًا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْءَاخِرِ يُوَآدُّونَ مَنْ حَآدَّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَلَوْ كَانُوٓا۟ ءَابَآءَهُمْ أَوْ أَبْنَآءَهُمْ أَوْ إِخْوَٰنَهُمْ أَوْ عَشِيرَتَهُمْ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ كَتَبَ فِى قُلُوبِهِمُ الْإِيمَٰنَ وَأَيَّدَهُم بِرُوحٍ مِّنْهُ ۖ وَيُدْخِلُهُمْ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ رَضِىَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا۟ عَنْهُ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ حِزْبُ اللَّهِ ۚ أَلَآ إِنَّ حِزْبَ اللَّهِ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ[22]

La tajidu qawman yuminoona biAllahi waalyawmi alakhiri yuwaddoona man hadda Allaha warasoolahu walaw kanoo abaahum aw abnaahum aw ikhwanahum aw AAasheeratahum olaika kataba fee quloobihimu aleemana waayyadahum biroohin minhu wayudkhiluhum jannatin tajree min tahtiha alanharu khalideena feeha radiya Allahu AAanhum waradoo AAanhu olaika hizbu Allahi ala inna hizba Allahi humu almuflihoona

Tu n'en trouveras pas, parmi les gens qui croient en Allah et au Jour dernier, qui prennent pour amis ceux qui s'opposent à Allah et à Son Messager, fussent-ils leurs pères, leurs fils, leurs frères ou les gens de leur tribu. Il a prescrit la foi dans leurs cœurs et Il les a aidés de Son secours. Il les fera entrer dans des Jardins sous lesquels coulent les ruisseaux, où ils demeureront éternellement. Allah les agrée et ils L'agréent. Ceux-là sont le parti d'Allah. Le parti d'Allah est celui de ceux qui réussissent.

Thou wilt not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, loving those who resist Allah and His Messenger, even though they were their fathers or their sons, or their brothers, or their kindred. For such He has written Faith in their hearts, and strengthened them with a spirit from Himself. And He will admit them to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, to dwell therein (for ever). Allah will be well pleased with them, and they with Him. They are the Party of Allah. Truly it is the Party of Allah that will achieve Felicity.
