بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِى السَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى الْأَرْضِ ۖ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ[1]

Yusabbihu lillahi ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi lahu almulku walahu alhamdu wahuwa AAala kulli shayin qadeerun

Ce qui est dans les cieux et ce qui est sur la terre glorifient Allah. A Lui la royauté et à Lui les louanges. Et Il est Omnipotent.

Whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare the Praises and Glory of Allah: to Him belongs dominion, and to Him belongs praise: and He has power over all things.

هُوَ الَّذِى خَلَقَكُمْ فَمِنكُمْ كَافِرٌ وَمِنكُم مُّؤْمِنٌ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ[2]

Huwa allathee khalaqakum faminkum kafirun waminkum muminun waAllahu bima taAAmaloona baseerun

C'est Lui qui vous a créés. Parmi vous [il y a] mécréant et croyant. Allah observe parfaitement ce que vous faites.

It is He Who has created you; and of you are some that are Unbelievers, and some that are Believers: and Allah sees well all that ye do.

خَلَقَ السَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ وَصَوَّرَكُمْ فَأَحْسَنَ صُوَرَكُمْ ۖ وَإِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ[3]

Khalaqa alssamawati waalarda bialhaqqi wasawwarakum faahsana suwarakum wailayhi almaseeru

Il a créé les cieux et la terre en toute vérité et vous a donné votre forme et quelle belle forme Il vous a donnée! Et vers Lui est le devenir.

He has created the heavens and the earth in just proportions, and has given you shape, and made your shapes beautiful: and to Him is the final Goal.

يَعْلَمُ مَا فِى السَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ[4]

YaAAlamu ma fee alssamawati waalardi wayaAAlamu ma tusirroona wama tuAAlinoona waAllahu AAaleemun bithati alssudoori

Il sait ce qui est dans les cieux et la terre, et Il sait ce que vous cachez ainsi que ce que vous divulguez. Et Allah connaît bien le contenu des poitrines.

He knows what is in the heavens and on earth; and He knows what ye conceal and what ye reveal: yea, Allah knows well the (secrets) of (all) hearts.

أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَبَؤُا۟ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ فَذَاقُوا۟ وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ[5]

Alam yatikum nabao allatheena kafaroo min qablu fathaqoo wabala amrihim walahum AAathabun aleemun

Ne vous est-elle pas parvenue, la nouvelle de ceux qui auparavant ont mécru et qui ont goûté la conséquence néfaste de leur acte; ils auront en outre un châtiment douloureux.

Has not the story reached you, of those who rejected Faith aforetime? So they tasted the evil result of their conduct; and they had a grievous Penalty.

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُۥ كَانَت تَّأْتِيهِمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَٰتِ فَقَالُوٓا۟ أَبَشَرٌ يَهْدُونَنَا فَكَفَرُوا۟ وَتَوَلَّوا۟ ۚ وَّاسْتَغْنَى اللَّهُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ غَنِىٌّ حَمِيدٌ[6]

Thalika biannahu kanat tateehim rusuluhum bialbayyinati faqaloo abasharun yahdoonana fakafaroo watawallaw waistaghna Allahu waAllahu ghaniyyun hameedun

Il en est ainsi parce que leurs messagers leur venaient avec des preuves évidentes, et qu'ils ont dit: «Sont-ce des hommes qui nous guideront?» Ils mécrurent alors et se détournèrent et Allah Se passa [d'eux] et Allah Se suffit à Lui-même et Il est Digne de louange.

That was because there came to them messengers with Clear Signs, but they said: "Shall (mere) human beings direct us?" So they rejected (the Message) and turned away. But Allah can do without (them): and Allah is free of all needs, worthy of all praise.

زَعَمَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَن لَّن يُبْعَثُوا۟ ۚ قُلْ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّى لَتُبْعَثُنَّ ثُمَّ لَتُنَبَّؤُنَّ بِمَا عَمِلْتُمْ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ[7]

ZaAAama allatheena kafaroo an lan yubAAathoo qul bala warabbee latubAAathunna thumma latunabbaonna bima AAamiltum wathalika AAala Allahi yaseerun

Ceux qui ont mécru prétendent qu'ils ne seront point ressuscités. Dis: «Mais si! Par mon Seigneur! Vous serez très certainement ressuscités; puis vous serez certes informés de ce que vous faisiez. Et cela est facile pour Allah».

The Unbelievers think that they will not be raised up (for Judgment). Say: "Yea, By my Lord, Ye shall surely be raised up: then shall ye be told (the truth) of all that ye did. And that is easy for Allah."

فَـَٔامِنُوا۟ بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَالنُّورِ الَّذِىٓ أَنزَلْنَا ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ[8]

Faaminoo biAllahi warasoolihi waalnnoori allathee anzalna waAllahu bima taAAmaloona khabeerun

Croyez en Allah donc et en Son messager, ainsi qu'en la Lumière [le Coran] que Nous avons fait descendre. Et Allah est Parfaitement Connaisseur de ce que vous faites.

Believe, therefore, in Allah and His Messenger, and in the Light which we have sent down. And Allah is well acquainted with all that ye do.

يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُكُمْ لِيَوْمِ الْجَمْعِ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ التَّغَابُنِ ۗ وَمَن يُؤْمِنۢ بِاللَّهِ وَيَعْمَلْ صَٰلِحًا يُكَفِّرْ عَنْهُ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِۦ وَيُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ[9]

Yawma yajmaAAukum liyawmi aljamAAi thalika yawmu alttaghabuni waman yumin biAllahi wayaAAmal salihan yukaffir AAanhu sayyiatihi wayudkhilhu jannatin tajree min tahtiha alanharu khalideena feeha abadan thalika alfawzu alAAatheemu

Le jour où Il vous réunira pour le jour du Rassemblement, ce sera le jour de la grande perte. Et celui qui croit en Allah et accomplit les bonnes œuvres, Il lui effacera ses mauvaises actions et le fera entrer dans des Jardins sous lesquels coulent les ruisseaux où ils demeureront éternellement. Voilà l'énorme succès!

The Day that He assembles you (all) for a Day of Assembly,- that will be a Day of mutual loss and gain (among you), and those who believe in Allah and work righteousness,- He will remove from them their ills, and He will admit them to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, to dwell therein for ever: that will be the Supreme Achievement.

وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَكَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ النَّارِ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۖ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ[10]

Waallatheena kafaroo wakaththaboo biayatina olaika ashabu alnnari khalideena feeha wabisa almaseeru

Et ceux qui ont mécru et traité de mensonges Nos versets, ceux-là sont les gens du Feu où ils demeureront éternellement. Et quelle mauvaise destination!

But those who reject Faith and treat Our Signs as falsehoods, they will be Companions of the Fire, to dwell therein for aye: and evil is that Goal.

مَآ أَصَابَ مِن مُّصِيبَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَمَن يُؤْمِنۢ بِاللَّهِ يَهْدِ قَلْبَهُۥ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ[11]

Ma asaba min museebatin illa biithni Allahi waman yumin biAllahi yahdi qalbahu waAllahu bikulli shayin AAaleemun

Nul malheur n'atteint [l'homme] que par la permission d'Allah. Et quiconque croit en Allah, [Allah] guide son cœur. Allah est Omniscient.

No kind of calamity can occur, except by the leave of Allah: and if any one believes in Allah, (Allah) guides his heart (aright): for Allah knows all things.

وَأَطِيعُوا۟ اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ الرَّسُولَ ۚ فَإِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَىٰ رَسُولِنَا الْبَلَٰغُ الْمُبِينُ[12]

WaateeAAoo Allaha waateeAAoo alrrasoola fain tawallaytum fainnama AAala rasoolina albalaghu almubeenu

Obéissez à Allah et obéissez au Messager et si vous vous détournez... il n'incombe à Notre messager que de transmettre en clair (son message).

So obey Allah, and obey His Messenger: but if ye turn back, the duty of Our Messenger is but to proclaim (the Message) clearly and openly.

اللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ[13]

Allahu la ilaha illa huwa waAAala Allahi falyatawakkali almuminoona

Allah nulle autre divinité que Lui! Et c'est à Allah que les croyants [doivent] s'en remettre.

Allah! There is no god but He: and on Allah, therefore, let the Believers put their trust.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِنَّ مِنْ أَزْوَٰجِكُمْ وَأَوْلَٰدِكُمْ عَدُوًّا لَّكُمْ فَاحْذَرُوهُمْ ۚ وَإِن تَعْفُوا۟ وَتَصْفَحُوا۟ وَتَغْفِرُوا۟ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ[14]

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo inna min azwajikum waawladikum AAaduwwan lakum faihtharoohum wain taAAfoo watasfahoo wataghfiroo fainna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun

O vous qui avez cru, vous avez de vos épouses et de vos enfants un ennemi [une tentation]. Prenez-y garde donc. Mais si vous [les] excusez, passez sur [leurs] fautes et [leur] pardonnez, sachez qu'Allah est Pardonneur, Très Miséricordieux.

O ye who believe! Truly, among your wives and your children are (some that are) enemies to yourselves: so beware of them! But if ye forgive and overlook, and cover up (their faults), verily Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

إِنَّمَآ أَمْوَٰلُكُمْ وَأَوْلَٰدُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عِندَهُۥٓ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ[15]

Innama amwalukum waawladukum fitnatun waAllahu AAindahu ajrun AAatheemun

Vos biens et vos enfants ne sont qu'une tentation, alors qu'auprès d'Allah est une énorme récompense.

Your riches and your children may be but a trial: but in the Presence of Allah, is the highest, Reward.

فَاتَّقُوا۟ اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ وَاسْمَعُوا۟ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ وَأَنفِقُوا۟ خَيْرًا لِّأَنفُسِكُمْ ۗ وَمَن يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِۦ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ[16]

Faittaqoo Allaha ma istataAAtum waismaAAoo waateeAAoo waanfiqoo khayran lianfusikum waman yooqa shuhha nafsihi faolaika humu almuflihoona

Craignez Allah, donc autant que vous pouvez, écoutez, obéissez et faites largesses. Ce sera un bien pour vous. Et quiconque a été protégé contre sa propre avidité... ceux-là sont ceux qui réussissent.

So fear Allah as much as ye can; listen and obey and spend in charity for the benefit of your own soul and those saved from the covetousness of their own souls,- they are the ones that achieve prosperity.

إِن تُقْرِضُوا۟ اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا يُضَٰعِفْهُ لَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ۚ وَاللَّهُ شَكُورٌ حَلِيمٌ[17]

In tuqridoo Allaha qardan hasanan yudaAAifhu lakum wayaghfir lakum waAllahu shakoorun haleemun

Si vous faites à Allah un prêt sincère, Il le multipliera pour vous et vous pardonnera. Allah cependant est très Reconnaissant et Indulgent.

If ye loan to Allah, a beautiful loan, He will double it to your (credit), and He will grant you Forgiveness: for Allah is most Ready to appreciate (service), Most Forbearing,-

عَٰلِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَٰدَةِ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ[18]

AAalimu alghaybi waalshshahadati alAAazeezu alhakeemu

Il est le Connaisseur du monde Invisible et visible, et Il est le Puissant, le Sage.

Knower of what is open, Exalted in Might, Full of Wisdom.
