FireRunner
Firerunner is a brand new sports app for runners, walkers, hikers, bikers and people who are on the move. Exclusively available on FirefoxOS at the moment you can track and save your activity on the phone. With GPS and a map you can always see your location. If you are into music when your are active we have integrated your music library. But not just that – you can also listen to web radio. DI.fm offers a variety of music genres that can make your activities even more fun. For internet radio button to load you need to wait for about 15 seconds or so. For all sports news fans, we've integrated the newsfeed provided by hubii.com. Stay up-to-date will the latest things happening in the sports category. Languages: English, Deutsch, ελληνικά, Español, Magyar, Polski, বাংলা, Português, русский, український - and soon in Hindi, Italian, Croatian, Serbian Behind the scenes we are busy working on even more features for future versions such as: • Import/export activities from other apps where possible with GPX • Make music feature pretty. Album covers and stuff. • How much did you burn? (kcal) Was it a single fry or even a Double Cheeseburger. Who cares. We’ll tell you the kcal’s. • How was the weather for your activity? Were you badass out in the snow or enjoying sunny weather. • Make new friends (future BF or GF?) or connect with exisiting BFFs • See runners around the world on a map moving – live -. • Connect your fitness/health tracker and see your stats. • ...and more, we wouldn’t want to spoil it, would we. This is the first version. There is so much more want to do. We will publish a new design at the end of August and we are planning to release to all major platforms. Attention: FirefoxOS phones today don't use aGPS. That is a nifty feature that is not available yet. The Flame has it :-) That means though that getting a good reliable location on your phone can take time. Our advise is to stand outside for a few minutes to let the phone find your location. We have also found issue with the LG phone that we are looking into.
