HELP FOR MAPS

Features:

  1. Search - Type the address you want to find then click search button and this app will help you automatically to find the address and locate it on map

  2. My Location - Click here to find your location using GPS / network connection. For this feature to work you have to stand under open sky so that GPS can locate you

  3. Hybrid maps- click on 'hybrid' button to view teh hybrid maps which contains terrains as well as sattelite maps

  4. panaromio - click on this to view photos around the world from this map itself

  5. Transit - click on this button to view transit layers i.e. Metro , bus network, pod taxis, Tram etc. This feature is available in certain locations

  6. Cycling- click on this button to view cycling paths in your city. this is useful when you are cycling. This feature is also location limited

  7. Directions- click on this button to view directions on the map. currently driving directions is supported. Type the start and the end address then click 'Find'

  8. help - click on this button to come help page i.e. where you are currently reading this page

TROUBLESHOOTING

  1. Problem - Map not visible/ Blank page ---- solution- Check your internet connection by opening any page on your web browser

  2. problem - map loading slowly -- solution - your internet connection is slow

  3. Problem - cannot find correct address ---- solution- sometimes the typed address may be wrong, uses autocomplete option whiel typingn address

  4. problem - cannot locate me / my location ----
    solution- check whether you have given gps permissions -> stand under open sky -> usually locating takes upto 5 min -> check gps is on(BB10)
