Ouija And Zozo

Last night was the first time I played with a Ouija Board. I had made it out of the back of a pizza box and decorated it with festive drawings for this coming Halloween season. I couldn't wait to give it a go. My boyfriend had chickened out at the last second and decided he didn't want to play. Now I believe in the paranormal but I believe in science as well. So I don't really know for sure if it's our subconscious minds moving the glass or spirits for sure. Well, I convinced my roommate to play. The second we put our fingers on the glass (we used a whiskey glass), we got immediate activity. Now keep in mind, my roommate doesn't believe in religion or spirits or any of that stuff so he really wasn't into it like I was. We both thought the other one was moving the glass. The first "spirit" we contacted called himself "10". I asked him if "10" was a childhood nickname, he said yes. I asked him what year he died in... He said "190"... I don't know if he meant 1990 or what. He kept going to one and zero. I asked him if that was a code for something. He said yes. I asked him if we had knowledge to unlock the code and he said no. Then I asked him if it was a secret and he said "yes". Then I asked him where he was from and he kept going to "M" and "Y"... I then said "Mymy?" and the pointer flew to yes in a straight shot. I asked him what "Mymy" was and he just kept going to "M" and "Y" and never really answered the question. After a short while he said goodbye on his own. RIGHT when we were going to end the game (our fingers were on the glass still), the glass shot directly to "yes". We asked if someone was here and it, again, went to yes. I asked his name and he said "ZoZo". I asked if ZoZo was male (he was). We asked him where he was from and he gave us the same answer that Zed did... (forgot the mention the other spirit told us his real name was Zed). And ZoZo also started going to one and zero. I asked him if he liked me and my roommate but apparently he likes me better. Though he doesn't like my hair or voice. Now I know a lot about ZoZo and had read about him a million times before. So I was shocked that he came through. I have heard not to great rumors about him. And I have heard some say he isn't that bad. I didn't have any trouble with him through out the whole conversation... What do you make of this? Was it really ZoZo or another spirit playing with me because he knows I know of ZoZo? Should I be worried? Though I didn't feel eerie after... I'm going to play again tonight with my roommate and another friend. I'll tell you guys about it!

Shadows In My Dreams

My school was putting on a Halloween play. When I woke up I had "This is Halloween" stuck in my head too. In this play a hearse was supposed to go by at one point. A bunch of freaky looking Dead people/ghosts were supposed to pop up as it passed the audience. They were all covered by hay, for some reason. My friend Mike was supposed to be a hat man, which was easy because he always wears a fedora. As we were walking him down to the hearse, across the stage, (the room was really dark with only the stage lights on) we could see his shadow on the wall. When we were almost to the hearse, the shadow of his hat came up next to another shadow of a hat on the wall... But this one belonged to a real shadow man. My sister was calm and Mike freaked out. That was when I woke up. Now, when I had this dream the lights in my room were actually off, and when I woke up I remember seeing something on the wall before turning my lights on in panic. I've heard from some people on this site that if you see shadow people in dreams then there could be one actually watching you as you sleep. It was also around 3-4ish when I woke up, which is a time where many sightings of hat men/shadow people are reported. The second dream was more recent, on 7/7. Basically my sister and I were in a motel and every time we'd try to go outside there were just more hallways filled with mist. Occasionally strange shadows would pass across the walls... My sister had to drive our van and ended up crashing it into a room where a girl was being roasted to death. As soon as she died a bunch of shadow children started creeping along the wall and as soon as they disappeared a larger shadow person appeared, which I assumed was their parent. The wall they were walking on was sunny. When I woke up from this dream it was 5 AM. I'm still really obsessed and fascinated with shadow people like before, in the past story I wrote. The only time I ever sleep with my lights off is if my girlfriend is with me, and even then I feel very uneasy looking at the dark wall-- I also keep an iPod charger plugged in at all times, so when it's dark it creates a patch of light on the wall across from my bed. When I'm alone I don't like to have my back to that wall because it feels very empty; yet in a Way that I believe something is watching me and is out to get me. Could they be in my room, watching me as I Sleep?

Halloween At The Cemetery

This happened on the Halloween night of 2008 and is not my own experience but that of my Brother, Sister and close friends. It is long so bear with me. I lived in Canberra during my childhood and Canberra is known to be the most haunted location in Australia given its history. Growing up I never took the paranormal seriously however my sister and her 3 friends did; in fact they are all Wiccans. On occasion they would try and contact spirits in the closest cemetery at daytime but would only experience slight things like really cold air or hearing footsteps. On Halloween 2008 they decided to go down to the cemetery at midnight and my brother and his friend also went along (they were all around the age of 13 - 19 I was 14), for some stubborn and stupid reason I decided to stay home, I now know that I will regret that decision for the rest of my life. This was definitely a very haunted place and it is also worth mentioning that it is one of the oldest Churches in Australia being built in 1840 it is called ST Johns the Baptist church. Excitedly they walked down but not really expecting to see anything amazing. When they reached the cemetery it was all serious business, they sat down in a circle and held hands with a candle in the center then my sister read something out loud from a book. When it ended everybody went silent for a few minutes then slowly started to stand up they were all looking around for about 10 minutes, one of my sisters friends was the first to see something. This thing was glowing a grey colour and it seemed to be fading in and out of focus, it was 20 meters away at the side of the churchyard. They were just watching it for a few minutes, whispering to each other then my sister and her 3 friends started slowly walking towards it. As they got closer it became clearer and clearer that it was a ghost of a young girl in 19th century clothing, they slowly recognized the details and folds in her dress and hair as she was twirling her arms and spinning. They just stared at the figure, silently smiling in awe. They were not threatened at all she was not aggressive in the least; they always tell me how amazing it was I am still so jealous. My brother and his friend started approaching it slowly as well by the hand gestures of the others. Next to the Ghost there was a old big tree and they noticed the dirt around it was being flown up in the air and they started hearing this strange growling sort of noise (like a dying animal) coming from that direction. Something started to form there. It slowly took the shape of a humanoid on all fours and was appearing in and out of focus. The girl ghost had disappeared. For some strange reason it seemed to be digging in the ground very frantically almost like trying to find something that was buried under the tree. They were happy the seance worked until now. As the 2 boys cautiously crept up to them before seeing what it was the strange ghost had stopped and everything went quiet. Suddenly it looked straight up at them and saw them as some sort of threat. With no warning it started to crawl and float towards them very aggressively while making a screeching sound, on this path it disappeared and then reappeared getting closer as it did! I would imagine tears forming in their eyes as their version of reality was bending (never a nice feeling). I told them that they should have stayed to see what it wanted. They replied by saying things like, no way! This thing definitely wanted to hurt us, we all started feeling tremendous fear and there was no way we would have stayed any longer. As they ran out (excited yet terrified) my brother was the only one to look back and he said it was still chasing them while the other girl ghost reappeared in the same spot. Well, they did not go back for months after that, the images were still too vivid (personally I would have gone back to check it out the same night, along with a lot of other things... When they did call Mum to pick them up they explained everything they saw to us when they got home. At first I did not believe them then I got a look at my Brothers face. It was so pale white it was almost like there was no blood in his head at all and they all had terrified looks on their faces. When they were telling me all this they held back tears yet they were really excited at the same time. I had no other choice but to believe them. Often it crosses my mind that the ghost of the young girl was luring them closer to the evil looking ghost... But why? One year later they went again and this time I went with them, it was not half as successful though. I did after the seance walk around by myself for a few minutes. I felt very uneasy and threatened for no reason at that moment I remember vividly seeing something white and ghostly float over my head for about 3 seconds. Walking away from that area I stayed about 10 meters away from everybody else looking around the graveyard for anything interesting but saw nothing. After about five minutes later, I swear I saw something unfocused that caught my eye; it was wobbling and flickering like a pale green flame. It was around the same area that the ghost of the young girl was last year. It was so captivating and hypnotic. I looked at it with a smile for about 30 seconds then walked to the others and said I think there is something over there so we walked towards it. I thought finally I can have this experience but sadly it didn't last that long. As we approached it, it slowly seemed to be different. Surprisingly all that was there was an old tall gravestone, just a gravestone, we felt silly. We all stayed there for about 15 minutes and didn't see anything only heard the odd noises from inside the church like someone was moving heavy objects. When we walked home everybody was saying things like "well that was a dud" I felt angry and upset. To this day I still wonder what I saw. It couldn't be just a grave stone they don't fade in and out, glow, move or change shape. I believe it was a ghost. Sometimes I drive down to the cemetery just to take pictures hoping to catch something interesting. Out of the 58 I have taken there is only 1 picture of a ghost. I have had more experiences but that's for another time.

Am I Crazy Or What?

I have had a lot of experiences that I can't explain. Let's start at the beginning. I was born on October 26 at around 10:55 pm. I feel that being born close to Halloween has something to do with it. All of my immediate family and most of my relatives have had some sort of experience with the supernatural. There are a few that stick the most in my mind. When I was 6 or 7 my mother would lay next to me at night until I fell asleep. One morning I woke up and thought she was still there with me. When I turned on my side to get closer to her, I saw no one there. But I could still feel them. My grandmother had passed away when I was 3 years old and we were very close. I think to this day it was her. More recently I worked at an Indian restaurant. I was left on my own most nights cleaning up the kitchen and finishing off dishes. I would talk on my phone for comfort as I often heard phantom music and a lady's high heals walking around, even though I was the only one in the building and did not have a radio on. One evening I was sitting polishing silverware and something made me look up above the buffet table. What I saw hanging there I will never forget. A man hung up by a rope around his neck swaying slightly. I looked at him for about 3 seconds. Then he disappeared. I had lots of experiences during the time I was working there. Currently where I live I have seen things that were weird. We had World War One and Two guns in the house. One evening I was home alone just finishing putting decorations on my little Christmas tree that we put up in our room every year. I was about to go downstairs to get something from my kitchen and on the stairs I saw a man dressed in military uniform. He looked like he came out of a old war movie except he was in color. On his head was a metal helmet with blood oozing out of his left temple. He just smiled and then vanished. I was on the phone to my cousin within minuets afterwords. One night about 2 years ago I was going up the stairs from my kitchen and passed a shadow on the stairs. The shadow was going down on my left which is impossible because my stairs are very narrow.

Benjamin

I will start by telling you about the house. The house is a side-by-side and was built probably in the 60's or 70's (purple shag carpet was in one of the rooms in the basement, lol). On Halloween (cliche, I know), before the house was sold to us, the neighbours across the back lane noticed that the light was on in the Master Bedroom and made a mental note to tell the Real Estate Agent next time they saw her. A few days later they saw her and told her about the light and she looked puzzled and said that the power to the house is shut off every time she leaves and that there is no way the light could have been on. Weird. When we moved in we noticed writing on the door to the crawlspace in one of the basement bedrooms that said "the ghost lives here" and "Benjamin's room" (hence the name Benjamin). We figured it was the previous owners kids or something that wrote it and didn't think too much of it (at the time we didn't know that other people had experiences with the supernatural there). I was 12 when we moved into there. Also, at this time my parents had gotten back together (if you read my last story they were separated). Apparently he has been there for quite a long time. The neighbourhood that we live in is like a small town. Everyone knows everyone and I went to school with and was friends with someone who used to live in my house and was the same age as me. I remember asking him shortly after we moved into the house if he noticed that it was haunted and he said yes and that he used to hear weird noises all the time but never went into any detail. At first we didn't notice anything amiss. Nothing out of the ordinary happened at all. I don't even remember the first time that I knew something was there with us so I will give you a rundown of the events as I remember them. We got this dog named Shadow and this dog would sit in the living room and bark and stare at one spot above the couch incessantly. It was like he could see something that we could not. Eventually, and I hate to be a bad pet owner but it really wasn't my fault (lol, blame the parents!) we had to give the dog away as we couldn't handle his constant barking at "nothing" anymore. One day my Mom was mopping the floor and she all of a sudden couldn't move the mop at all. My Mom is a real no bull kind of lady and so she got mad and yelled "LET GO!" and right away she was able to continue mopping on her merry way. Another time she was in the bathroom and she started smelling strong cigarette smoke so, again, she got angry and said "I would like some privacy please", and just like that it was gone. Perverted little ghost if you ask me. That's my MOTHER! Anyways, my sisters both slept downstairs in the basement and I slept upstairs in the room beside my parents. My sisters both remember hearing things in the basement and slept with their doors closed. I don't think either of them ever saw anything. My parents again decided to separate and me and my sisters all moved out. I would go back to visit to my Dad and sleep over (my sister's have a different father so they didn't go back) and started to notice things happening. My room remained where it was, beside my Dad's. One night we had both gone to bed and been there for maybe five minutes when we heard cupboard doors slamming open and closed. I thought it was my Dad (not really) and he thought maybe it was me. We asked each other in the morning if it was the other but it wasn't. Another thing that happened was that I walked into the kitchen and the light exploded. My room used to get VERY hot, almost unbearably hot. I would ask Benjamin to please stop and the temperature would go back to normal. When I moved my bedroom downstairs, things got a little more strange. While I was laying in bed at night if I had my door open I could hear someone walking down the hall and it sounded like they were dragging their feet. It would go on and on. Eventually, after getting scared so often, I would close my door when I went to sleep. This seemed to help and I didn't notice much anymore after that, unless of course my door was open. I was laying in bed one night with my boyfriend and he had just fallen asleep. We were laying back to back and I was still awake. All of a sudden a stuffed animal fell off of my bookcase headboard and something pulled my hair. Thinking it was him I turned around and smacked him, called him an expletive and asked why he pulled my hair. He groggily woke up, rolled over, and told me he had no idea what I was talking about. I know it wasn't him because the only way for him to have done that would have been to move, and I would have felt him as I was still awake. Another time, my girlfriend was sleeping over and we had just gone to bed when a book fell down off of my headboard and hit us both in the head. The thing about this was, I grabbed this book earlier off of my headboard and noticed that I must have put it in something sticky earlier so instead of putting it back on my headboard I put it beside my bed, sticky side up, so that it didn't get on the wood. I confirmed with my Stepmom that she was not in my room and no one else was home that day. After this happened my girlfriend (now wife) looked up and saw a black figure near my bookcase. All she could see was the outline of the head though and that was it. Also, when I am in my Dad's living room, out of the corner of my eye I see something standing and peeking it's head out of the hallway (or that's how it seems). I can't make out any details, only that it is a white-smoky coloured figure. It does this only when I am in the living room (until recently) and only at my Dad's. I have tried to replicate what I am seeing in other people's homes, in other rooms, etc. But to no avail. I have only seen it away from the living room once and it was after I hadn't been at my Dad's in a while. I came over with my wife and child one day and we had spent the whole day there talking and just hanging out. We were all sitting in the kitchen and having our normal conversation and suddenly I see something out of the corner of my eye. It looks like it's peeking in at me through the entrance to the kitchen (which is the other end of the hallway that leads to our living room). I told my parents and partner that I could see Benjamin and that he was there. My Stepmom calls it "voodoo crap" and said that I can't see anything and there is nothing there. My Dad and partner don't really say anything. He stays there (I can only see his image out of the corner of my eye) for about 5-10 minutes and then he's gone. I don't know if it is that I was away for so long that he came to say "hi" or what. That's all I can remember or think of right now... I have one more story that I am going to share shortly about a demon... Well, I think it was a demon.

Haunted Beach Party

As a teenager I was always into Halloween and all the fun that surrounds that occasion. In High school I had a group of friends that I always had such a great time hanging out with. We lived in Amherstburg Ontario Canada. (It's a small historic town just 20mins south of Windsor/Detroit) The town is a very popular hot spot for all sorts of paranormal and other odd activities. We had a lot of fun exploring these known places. Because of the wars and the history of the area it is almost impossible to walk aground and not be standing in either an old battle field or ancient Indian graveyard. After a series of bad events that scared the wits out of us, we all stopped. It has been a long time since then and I am enjoying the opportunity to tell our stories of what happened to us. In this event we were actually not looking for any trouble or even remotely investigating any paranormal activity. We had a recent bad brush with a Ouija board and all the scary stuff was off the itinerary. (for those of you who have read about my Ouija board experience. This was just after our first seance in the basement and our first scare.) During the fall the lake was ideal for swimming in. Believe it or not Lake Erie was clean at that time. To have fun we would often go to a nearby beach and party. This particular beach is about 8 minutes south of Amherstburg and is at the transition point where Detroit River dumps out into Lake Erie. The land cuts into a shallow bay and the water is only about 6 ft deep for as far out as 100-150 feet. This area is a wooded area that is a land dam between the inland swamps and Lake Erie. It consists of a wall of dirt with a path on top. To the north is a large flood plain / forest and swamp. To the south is an old forest with a sandy floor that leads to the beach. The actual beach was narrow, only about 40-60 feet wide at its widest point and in some areas the forest would end right at the surf. This area is famous for its shifting sandbars and its changing tide. Twice a year the tide will pull out leaving a 60 to 100 foot exposed shoreline. Then the surf will come rushing in and in a matter of minutes return to the original level. The beach/forest area was about a mile long and broken into 4 separated areas by large stone jetties. This made several smaller alcoves along the shoreline where you would have isolated beaches. It was on these beaches that we would have our parties. It was the perfect place, it was very isolated and for me a modern day Eden. The trees were large and had low hanging branches and the forest had a bounty of wild raspberries, strawberries and grapes. I had been going to this place for years without any kind of paranormal trouble. But this place had a very significant history. This beach has always been the Washout area for anything floating downstream in the Detroit river. As a kid each year there would be 2 or 3 bodies that would wash ashore just after winter thaw. We had many things wash ashore there; some of my favourites were clusters of giant trees that broke free and created floating islands of roots, some were very large and could be tied off to a land tree and played with as your own floating tree fort or swimming platform. Once after a great storm a large 35ft wooden yacht got caught in the shallows between a sandbar and the shore. It was a marvellous ghost ship. (no ghosts on board just looked like one) It was made from wood and probably from the 40s or 50s. It had a tug boat look with a top cabin and captain's deck on top. (If you have ever watched the original movie Jaws you will know what it looks like. It was almost identical to the boat at the end) This boat had been sunk many years ago and had been under water for a long time. It was full of zebra mussels and the paint was flaking off the wood. The recent storm and currents must have moved the boat into the shallows and then it popped back up. (I am not a nautical man but I have been told that old wooden boats have been known to rise from the bottom of the lake to the surface and take on float again under the right conditions) The boat stayed for about a week and was gone again in the next storm. Needless to say that beach area was a place where in the past that many ships were washed up onto. Very close to this area is a rock shoal in the lake that is famous for sinking maritime ships. Local lore has it that the dead bodies find themselves washed up on the beach and their spirits never leave. This particular event happened in the early fall. We had buried our alcohol stash in the surf to keep it cool and returned later at night to party. We had a small fire and "camp area" and all had a blast. But this night was different than others. It was a very dark night and the normal forest sounds of birds and crickets were silent. Even the moon was orangey and dim. We started off with 6 of us and we were listening to music. After awhile we all set out to find areas appropriate for a ladies room, and another for the men. This is when we had our first indication that something was wrong. Finding a discrete place for the washroom required us to journey into the forest a little deeper than typical. The forest ground was mostly sand and walking in it produced a very soft sound. Only on occasion would you step on a dry leaf or brush a low hanging bush and actually make a sound. The forest was fairly thick but did not have much underbrush so it was easy to navigate. Once you moved away from the beach the gentle sound of the night surf disappeared. This is also where the forest would feel very surreal. The air was fresher and crisper and the moonlight filtered through the tree tops producing a candle light atmosphere. This was a very romantic place normally... (funny how most of the elements that make a place romantic also can also make it so scary) This night the area was also full of dark shadowed areas where this dim moon light would not penetrate. There were 3 of us guys navigating the night forest. We were all fairly stout boys that had all had backgrounds in scouts and camping (and for the most part very sensible) We were not easily bothered by the "spookiness" of being in a forest at night. But I remember a few comments about the how eerie the night was under the odd moon and how the girls must be very scared. (being that they were also alone in another part of the forest) I remember we did have a brief chuckle over the idea of scaring them... But we knew that would not lead to a "good night" so we behaved. Being guys we found our bathroom fairly quickly... As any bush would do. I think we actually made the effort to find a discreet location really only because the girls seemed offended by the gesture of us taking a leak in the surf or on nearby bush. So we pretended to be civilized and found our location. After completing our business we started to return to the camp site. On the way back to the beach we all thought we heard footsteps close behind us. We immediately suspected the girls of the same prank idea that we entertained earlier. But with a little investigation we could not find anyone. Then the footsteps seemed to follow us to the camp area. One of my friends called out to the girls to see where they were. They were of course still occupied and their voices came from the other side of the forest. They were all shouting because they were issuing us warnings not to come looking for them. So we could account for all the girls and we knew it was not them behind us in the bush. Immediately I thought that it was another kid from the neighbourhood or some prankster or worse some misfit looking for trouble. So we all grabbed a thick branch and took a quick walk to flush out anyone in the area. After a few minutes we did not find anything and even the sand showed no traces of another person's foot prints. So we returned to the fire and started drinking. The Girls eventually arrived back at the campfire and we all started to drink again. All was going to return to normal, but one of the girls asked if we had anyone follow us in the forest. The girls agreed that someone had followed them too. This was too weird and too coincidental to happen to all of us. So the party was off and we were set to find our mystery person who was lurking in the woods. In our alcohol induced genius we figured we use the girls as bait... We left one of my guy friends there to complete the picture and I and my other friend quietly slipped into the forest and circled around to ensnare our would-be stalker. Well it took some time and eventually I got in behind the campfire area and settled myself in the dark shadows. I was actually behind a very large willow tree and could see the campfire glow through the trees in front of me. I could hear the girls and guy talking. I scanned the forest in front of me looking for an outline of our stalker. But nobody was there. Now standing out in the dark forest alone looking for a mysterious person gets one to thinking... Who is hunting who? I started to second guess the plan... Perhaps the stalker was on to our plan and had noticed us sneaking off in the woods and was now behind me watching me looking for him. (hope that makes sense) Well let's just say alcohol and logic do not mix well. (thinking back I was a brave but stupid kid. Who knows what animals a person would run into in a night forest or even some kind of sicko... Who knows!) Well not knowing if our stalker was in front or behind me I decided to brake from the plan and lay down and creep along the forest floor on my belly very slowly to relocate to a "better" hiding spot. I moved into the deepest dark area and noticed that the ground was holding a small whiff of fog in among the trees. I figured I was as deep as it gets, any further and I would be moving into the swamps to the north. I settled in for a few silent moments. After a while there was just nothing there, so I decided to go back to the campsite. As I stood up and set myself to walk towards the camp area; a dark face appeared looking straight into my face. I stumbled back to see a shadowy figure hanging down from the tree I was sat under. He was watching me. He was crawling down the tree but not moving... He had noticed that I saw him and was not moving. I remember I could see him as clear as the tree. For a second I was frozen... I knew what I was looking at but I could not convince my body to react like I wanted to. I wanted to run but I could not move. After the longest second I was able to move my legs and start moving off towards the camp. I quickly moved into the brightest areas of the forest that would make a path back to the beach. As a moved I tried to keep the shadow in view, but he quickly disappeared. But I soon started to see him looking out from behind other trees and I soon realized that there was more than one shadow in that forest. As I made it into the discreet areas I was in pretty much a full run. I hadn't realized but the beach and camp area was silent. My friends were not making any sounds. Suddenly the girls started to scream. The campfire was put out. The forest became darker. I ran towards where I remembered the campfire light to be. I caught the image of my other friend who had been scouting in the forest as he bolted past the brush and into the open beach. We both looked around and could not see the others. We quickly found them, as they were all some distance down the shoreline. They were waving to us to catch up. (Which we did) They were yelling that they could all see shadows moving in the forest and that we needed to get out of there. To leave this beach would require us to walk back through the forest to the land dam and then along it to the road. None of us could bring ourselves to go back into the forest; especially now that the fog was moving in quickly from the trees. Even the lake had fog moving in from it. We knew we were going to be trapped in the fog if we did not get out quickly. But we were not going to go into the forest. We were all very scared and made a semi desperate break for the water. The water was not deep, but it was very cool. We moved along the waterfront until we passed the forest and came to the shore line in front of the first house on the street. We climbed up the rock wall and ran across their yard and back to our cars parked at the road. Even as we left the car's headlights light up the fog and we could see things moving in the fog. I think we all really wanted to contribute this event to the alcohol... Even though we did not consume very much at the time. We considered this a 7 on our scary shiat meter. (Making it one of the scariest things we had seen up until that point) We did not think it at the time but I am sure it was connected to the Ouija board incident we had. (The Ouija board from Hell broke the scary meter rankings and stopped all of our investigations.)

The Halloween Mask

As a young girl I grew up in an area of Little Britain called ball point. I was the type of kid that was loud and known by pretty much everyone in the neighbourhood. I would stand on my front deck and yell hello to almost anyone that would acknowledge my existence. Oddly enough it was the night before Christmas on this specific occurrence. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if my brother told me that they played with a Ouija board at some point or another. Anyways my sister and I had been put into bed. I had the top bunk and my sister had the bottom at this point. I remember my feet being cold so I climbed out to bed to get a pair of socks out of my closet with folding double doors. I grabbed the one door and opened it. Nothing, socks were on the other side so I pulled back the other door. I had plastic hanging cubbies for my socks and underwear and such. I had never seen something so real and so scary as such a young kid as I did that night. Looking into the centre cubby there sat what looked like my brother's mask and a hand in each cubby on either side of the head. To give you an idea of what this mask looked like here is the best description I can give. The hair was short and a light forest green and its face was 3 or 4 shades lighter than that. It had large nostrils; big white teeth like a werewolf would have and almost had the look of a very large gremlin head. Anyways this thing was sitting there staring at me. I thought it was some stupid joke my older brother was pulling on me but something just didn't feel right. So I decided I would reach for the head and confront my brother with it. As my hand got closer I remember those eerie eyes following my hand as it got closer. I stopped and took a step back shaking like a leaf. My socks were wet with what looked like blood. It moved its long fingers and its eyes didn't stop look at me the entire time until I shut the closet doors. So I did what any normal little girl would do. I screamed and tore off looking for my dad! When I finally got his attention I dragged him into my room as fast as I could. When we re-entered my room he went up to the closet with me hiding behind his legs waiting so see that horrible creature again. He opened the doors and nothing was there. It couldn't have been my brother or the fake blood would have still been on my socks. To this day I cannot explain what happened that night but it remains fresh in my mind even though I'm now 25 years old. Since I was spiteful about what happened I took upon myself to scare it off. So instead of hiding under my bed sheets I chose to camp out in a sleeping bag in my closet!
