Map application for outdoor enthusiasts that lets you:

Track your movements and collect statistics about your hike
Export your track in GPX format
Import routes from GPX files

Supports several map layers (MapQuest and Thunderforest Outdoors preconfigured, others like Google or OVI can be added by custom configuration) with offline storage of map data and lets you switch between metric and imperial units. A web hosted version of the application for Firefox/Chrome is available at hikingmaps.cmeerw.net. Please get in touch if you want to help with translations.
