GEORGE HAROLD HARRISON

February 25, 1943: George Harrison is born in Liverpool.
February, 1958: George joins the Quarrymen.
December, 1960: George is forced to leave Germany for working underage without a permit.
January 1961: The Beatles debut at the Cavern Club.
August 3, 1963: The Beatles play their farewell show at the Cavern Club, having logged almost three hundred performances there.
February 7, 1964: The Beatles begin their first US tour.
February 9 and 16, 1964: The Beatles headline twice on the "Ed Sullivan Show" on CBS, for a $3,500 performance.
March 1964: Shooting begins on the Beatles' first feature film, A Hard Day's Night, as "Can't Buy Me Love" tops the charts both in Britain and America.
Spring 1965: John, Cynthia, George Harrison, and Pattie Boyd inadvertently take their first LSD trip when a dentist-friend of Harrison's spikes their coffee.
July 29, 1965: Help! has its world premiere in London's West End. Reviews hail the Beatles as "modern Marx Brothers".
August 1965: The Beatles meet Elvis Presley at his home in Bel Air. Not knowing their individual names, Elvis refers to each as "Beatle".
January, 1966: George and Pattie Boyd get married.
September, 1966: George leads The Beatles to visit the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in India, and there develops his lifelong passion for Indian music and mysticism.
January, 1969: George and Paul argue during the filming of the movie Let It Be. George storms out of Abbey Road Studios, but is later coaxed back by Paul.
January, 1969: George performs with The Beatles for the last time on the rooftop of Abbey Road studios.
April 10, 1970: The Beatles break up for good. For George, this is a liberation day.
August, 1971: George appeared at "The Concert for Bangladesh" at madison Square Garden. He was surrounded by a number of rock stars, including Ringo Starr, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Billy preston, Badfinger, and Ravi Shankar.
1972: Louise, George's mother dies.
Summer, 1974: George tours the United States, but is poorly received by critics and fans alike.
January, 1977: After five years of discord, George and Pattie are divorced. She then marries Eric Clapton who had long had a "crush" on her.
June, 1977: George meets Olivia Arrias, and the two begin living together.
1978: Harold, George's father, dies.
August 1, 1978: George and Olivia are the proud parents of a son whom they name Dhani.
August 8, 1978: George and Olivia get married.
1980: George's book, I, Me, Mine is published.
1988: George joins a new band, "The Travelling Wilburys," and their debut album is released to much critical acclaim.
January, 1994: George is reunited with Paul and Ringo to work on two new Beatles' songs, "Free As A Bird" and "Real Love," and he becomes involved in the Anthology project.
November 29, 2001: George dies on cancer in Los Angeles.
