Rocket Science - physics simulation This physics simulation is about simplified rocket science. Rocket Science comes along without any sophisticated graphical human machine interface so far. The concept is turn based. On each turn the user enters a numerical value for the fuel burn rate of the excursion module in a valid range. Main objective is to land the excursion module safely. Flight control is by instruments only rather than visually landing the Lunar Excursion Module (LEM). Instrument Landing System (ILS) shows a defect. You are supposed to perform the landing maneuvers manually. An additional objective is to optimise the fuel consumption. Lunar orbit circularization maneuver has been performed to place the spacecraft in a 66.1- by 54.4-mile orbit already. After the exterior of the lunar module has been inspected from the command module, a separation maneuver was performed with the service module reaction control system. Undocking the lunar module on time. Performing descent orbit insertion maneuver now. Good luck! Now it is your turn. Please enter an integer numerical value between 0 and 200 for the burn rate intended to be kept for the next 10 seconds!
