Moss is an assembly code compiler for the 6502 CPU. The 6502 CPU was introduced in 1975 as a super cheap processor for consumer electronics. It was a smash hit, and powered millions of devices including the Apple II, Commodore 64, and Nintendo Entertainment System. It was developed by MOS Technology, and that's where the name comes from. Features:

Moss is now Rockwell, with a new interface and lots of new features!

  • <u>New name</u>: Rockwell is named after the Rockwell R65F11, an enhanced version of the 6502 CPU. It's much cooler-sounding than Moss.
  • <p><u>Updated UI</u>: Rockwell adds major improvements to the user interface.</p>
  • <u>Improved file management</u>: Rockwell has brand new file management capabilities, rewritten to work better on more devices.
  • <u>Auto-save</u>: Rockwell now saves your program to your device automatically, so you can close it and come right back to where you were.
  • <u>Re-written core</u>: Large portions of the code have been re-written in JQuery.
