Until and unless you possess a coffee machine, sleeping is not that

important for Sims. The espresso will take around thirty to ten seconds for

making a drink and will fill the bar around third of the way.

Social

The “be funny” action on other Sim will take ten seconds and is normally

enough for filling up the whole social bar. On the other hand, a “quick chat”

over phone will take from thirty to ten seconds.

Fun

The fastest action for fulfilling the need is to “check email” on computer that

will take from one minute to thirty seconds on 3-star computer (costs

around 2LP). Though, I normally fulfill the fun need by dancing over the

stereo or watching news. They may take a bit longer, but they provide me

enough time for increasing other Sims’ needs. In fact, watching news takes

between five to three minutes, whereas dancing over the stereo will take

three to one minutes. Besides, contrary to the computer, the multiple Sims

could do such actions simultaneously.

However, remember that until and unless your need for fun is at all-time

low, baking or planting rocks would in fact give decent boost of fun.
