A COLD WIND BLOWS

I never knew walking can be so tough. Well it can be if you have just played a football match and that too lost it. I was just looking forward to go to my bead and take a nap. I thought of running but my legs didn’t allow me to. On my way I thought of resting in the park for a while. I laid down on the soft grass. The world seemed so good to me right now. It looked as if I will just close my eyes, I will fall asleep.

I turned around and saw a sunflower. It was frozen. You may think a frozen plant is common, but spring was going on and theses kind of events are not applicable for a spring season. I touched it and I could feel the coldness it had. It was really cold. Seeing something like this made my sleep go away. I got up and started heading toward home.

As I walked a few miles I felt something was unusual. Cold wind was blowing. It would have made me feel relaxed as it was spring but right now it made me freak out. It was super cold. I started running towards my home. The things were not going right. How can it be cold in spring with a flower freezing out? Now I thought that I should have taken a nap in the park.

I doubled my speed as I was not ready to face something unusual again, and I slipped through something. I saw that it was snow. It should not have surprised me after experiencing the cold winds, but indeed it did. Snow in spring is beyond expectations.

I stood up and saw a man in a white hoodie. He was perfect human but his skin looked pale, as if he had not seen the sun for years. He smiled and started walking. His big boots didn’t even make a sound. He stopped and looked towards me. He had that wicked smile that freaked me out. He threw something towards me and continued his walk. I thought he will throw a snow ball. But it was something like a scroll. I opened it and it said “Are you ready Aken ?”
