FINDING A NEW MATE
Killing the Mayor as of now is impossible. He has a huge force. I am not even interested in killing someone. But I just can’t talk to the mayor and tell him that I know the truth and he has to step down. He would kill me without any warning.
But first of all, I have to find some help. I can’t do all this alone. I have to find someone who is an expert in all this or someone who could help me put the plan together.
I went to my house to think. I opened my old yearbook. I called two of my friends, Nick and Kelan. They both had a clever. I called both of them home so that I can talk to them about this. But I will only take one of them in my mission as I did not want it to be a ruckus. I will try to interview them and let them not know about my plan right now.
They both came in the evening. I served them some snacks. I dint know that how should I start the conversation. I asked them how were they doing in life and were they married and all sorts of questions that we should ask to a friend whom we have not met in a decade.
One of them was a police officer and the other was a doctor. I was preferring to take the police officer with me in the mission as he could help me. I decided that when they will be leaving, I will approach Nick and tell him about the plan.
It was 8PM, and they were leaving. Kelan had a phone so he went in the backyard to talk. It was the right time for me to tell Nick about the plan, but then a thought came to my mind. Why did Kelan went to the backyard to attend the phone call?
I went to the backyard to see if everything was fine. I heard him talking about “finding information about something.” I stood in a corner and listened the whole phone call. He was lying to me. He is not a doctor. He is a spy!
I rushed to Nick so that Kelan would not know that I was listening to his phone call. As they both went out, I stopped Kelan and told him that I wanted to show him something. I was happy that Nick did not find it interesting and went home. I took Kelan to my room and told him that I heard his phone call. I told him that I know that he is a spy. He said that he did not like to tell his true profession to people because then they become suspicious of him.
I told him that I am a detective. He smiled. I asked him that I needed his help in a mission and he readily agreed. He said that he liked missions.
I explained him my finding in the hut and the history behind the mayor. Initially he thought that I was fooling with him. I took him to the hut and showed him everything. Now he was convinced and agreed to help me.
